Last year BNI Islington generated over £250,000 worth of new business for its members – equivalent to £14,000 per business owner, and the group is always looking for new members to help us keep this figure increasing.
BNI Islington works on the principle that there is only one member of the group who represents each profession but that the entire group act as a sales team representing your business. Members will recommend the services of other group members to people that they meet during the course of their jobs and you get the benefit of their introduction and the trust and rapport that they already have with that person.
It’s much better to do business with people who trust you and the referred lead is typically a much better prospect than cold-calling someone you’ve never met or spoken with before, and with whom you have nothing or no one in common. It’s a simple principle, but it works.
BNI Islington meets every Wednesday morning at 7.00am at Carluccio’s on Upper Street and we’d love to see you there.
